The ProviderGateway™ software solutions are based on an open platform that allows users to access the full systems functionality via an Internet connection utilizing a browser, e.g., Internet Explorer.
All ProviderGateway™ systems run on industry-standard hardware; they are ODBC-compliant, currently deployed on Windows 2000 Enterprise operating system, and developed using the Microsoft SQL 2000 database management system. This platform allows utilization of many off-the-shelf tools in the daily maintenance and monitoring of systems. This also gives the most flexibility in communication with other systems include SQL and ODBC interfaces. If a different database platform is desired, (e.g., ORACLE) then this can be accommodated as a custom request - our applications have been successfully tested for portability.
